In this four hour workshop, we will be learning basics of pointed pen calligraphy in the modern style, cover lower case letters and form words, all of this jam-packed with detailed step by step instructions.

In the first half, we will focus on right posture, learning essential supplies, how to use the tools and warm-up drills. The second half will cover basic strokes, lowercase letters and word formation.

You will be provided with the following supplies:

  1. Dual pen holder
  2. Best steel nib for beginners
  3. Ink Jar
  4. Workbook, designed with lot of thought just for you đŸ™‚

along with some goodies and light refreshments. The workshop investment covers these which is inclusive of taxes.

After taking this workshop, you will be confident to create calligraphy and truly enjoy this beautiful art form. I will also share bits and pieces of my knowledge that I’ve acquired from some of the best calligraphers in the world. Towards the end, I will be demonstrating brush calligraphy, copperplate calligraphy and flourishing.

This workshop is all about being positive and having fun while learning a new skill and you will also be able to discover your own creative side! It does not require any prior experience in calligraphy or lettering. Let’s all just use this time to relax and learn with good company!

About me:

I started learning calligraphy in April 2017. I’ve learned from some best calligraphers like Laura Hooper, Younghae Chung and Sharisse DeLeon. Teaching calligraphy gives me joy and allows me to help people unfold creativity.
